I have herd recently some intresting facts about kiwi fruit and their skin benefits, and we all love some tips on getting gorgeous skin :)
So girlies this is my intresting facts, Kiwi fruit has more vitamin C than a orange.
I found when you get those terrible dreaded spots if you munch on 2 kiwi fruit a day your going to get so much more vitamin C than if you ate one orange, this is turn is saposed to help get rid of those spots.
So I thought I would give this a little road test, My plan is to eat my normal healthy diet but add in my 2 kiwi fruit a day and see if this helps with my skin as its abit horrible at the moment.
I may add 1 more a day just before that horrible time of the month aswell as see what happens., because my skin is dreadfull then.
Im going to road test this for a month or so, I will give you regular updates on my skin, and maybe some pictures.
Here are some intresting facts for now though :)
- One kiwi can provide more than the full recommended daily intake of vitamin C for adults.
- Kiwis contain potassium which helps regulate nerves, heart beat and blood pressure and may be beneficial in reducing high blood pressure.
- The phytonutrient lutein is found in kiwis, which has now been shown to help maintain healthy eyesight.
- A single kiwi fruit provides more vitamin C than an orange, the same amount of potassium as a banana and more fibre than an apple.
