Freshtival - how to stay fresh and looking your best at a festival

Hey everyone, im back for good now :)
Its summer and the festivals are well under way, and im going to my first ever festival this year, so ive been doing some research on how to stay beautiful under the mud and rain, so here are my beauty essentials to stay fresh at a festival.

1. Get your eyelashes tinted before you go - you'll save space in your makeup bag and time getting ready, if you cant afford salon prices get a 30 day mascara I haven chosen the one from coloursport. Boots - £5.44

2.Hide the horror of grimy nails by coating them before you go in one of this seasons bright colours. Ive picked two colours from the collection 2000 range, they are amazing value for money. Superdrug £1.79 each

Hip hop

Siren

3. There is noway you'll be sharing those festival showers so this is where dry shampoo comes into action, ive tried this myself and it is amazing! adds volume and stops hair feeling greasy. Superdrug £2.99

4. Now weve come to the concluison there is noway we will be sharing those skanky festival showers we have to clean some how, and whats the next best thing? WIPES :), the ones from the body shop have tea tree to get rid of those smelly pits aswell its a win win situation. Body shop £4.00

5. Just because you'll be slumming it in a tent for a weekend in the middle of some muddy field does not mean hygiene has to suffer, this deodrant dust from Lush will leave you smelling beautiful all day and when you start getting a bit sweaty just dust some more on for a long last fresh smell all day. Lush £4.20

6.  Going to a festival isnt the same as going out on the town, so there is no need for piles of makeup, just use this elf 3 in 1 stick for eyes, face and lips plus you'll save space in your bag for more important things like clothes and alcohol. Elf - £1.50

7.  Drinking alcohol in the hopfull sun but more likely rain and wind will cause chapping of your lips, invest in a good lipbalm such as Nivea tinted lipbalm, and just incase it is sunny it has added extra SPF 10. Superdrug £2.00
8.  Just incase there is a huge amount of sun, your better off protected plus if you end up with sun burn you wont look or feel very attractive and it will make dancing to your favourite music sore and uncomfortable. Apply a high SPF to prevent the dreaded lobster. Superdrug SPF 30 - £2.99
9. Keep those dreded spots away and hide the hidious hangover with a secret cheat that will leave everyone thinking you had well over 8 hours sleep when really you only had 2 with Witch anti-blemish tinted moisturiser from Boots - £5.99

10. Keep up the look of beauty with Superdrugs natural high brightening eyecream- £1.00 it will have everyone wondering how you managed to look so amazing even though they saw you partying till 6am.

11. Keeping a gorgeous smell is key at a festival you dont want people to know you havent had a wash for 2days to apply Lush's solid perfume stick in lush £.4.95 its small enough to carry around with you and apply whenever you feel you need that extra boost of gorgeous smellyness.

12. Save space in your bag and prevent a tramatic toothpase disaster by taking lush's toothy tabs with you, ive chosen the ones that wil give you freshest breath even after all the alcohol, all you do is crunch them inbetween you teeth and brush saves the risk of entering those dreded shower cubicles to. Lush - £2.75

13. We have already come to the conclusion that the festival loos and cubicles are going to be pretty disgusting so banish germs with a water free germ killer the best thing is they also come in little travel sizes so you can carry them around with you. Superdrug £3.99
14. Last but not least a festival is going to be like a battle field with people throwing their arms in the air, and dont forget those wellies rubbing your feet, be safe not sorry and take a travel first aid kit like the one from superdrug for those just inacses. £3.99
So thats it for my freshtival guide, I hope its helpfull let me know what you'll be taking with you :)

Sunday

Finally finished college

Hey everyone, its been a seriously long time! but i have finally finished college so i will have more time for blogging now, i will hopefully give you an review on my new barry m nail polish next week, but in the mean time i entered the next model 2011 contest, if all you lovely fellow bloggers could vote for me would be amazing :)

Review: Palmers cocoa butter gradual tanner

Good afternoon girlies, hope everyone is having a relaxing sunday :)
I brought this a few days ago because i love palmers cocoa butter and I thought gradual tanner with the lush smell of palmers cream would be amazing :)
I first used it on a college, and the orginal smell of palmers came through however through out the day that smell wore off and this horrible fake tan came through, I was literally sat in the library going who on earth has fake tan on, then I gave myself a sniff and it was me DISGUSTING!!!
Not something you need to smell of while your at college thats for sure.,
The best thing about this is that the colour you get from it is amazing, no orange or streaks in sight unlike other grdual tanners ive used, this one gives you a bronzey brown colour rather than some hidious orange yellow colour which is amazing.
I think if you can handel the smell of fake tan one the orginals smell has worn off then its an excellent product, however if you can handel the fake tan smell of mouldy digestive bisucuits I wouldnt advise buying, i did however find a trick to get rid of the smell and that is to use this then apply the normal palmers on top which stopped me from smelling of fake tan :)
All in all its an excellent product despite the smell of fake tan, you can combat that smell with layering on orginal palmers though.
5 golden stars for this beautiful summer must have

Palmers cocoa butter

It seems like forever since i have done a post, but I have nearly finished college, I am at the final push which is good :) It will then be summer time YAY :)
Unfortunatly I havent herd back from some of my choices of uni yet so it is abit of a waiting game.

Anyway after my last lesson today me and my friend went into town to do a spot of shopping.
I ran out of my fav cream this morning so in superdrug was 3 for 2 ;)

I love this stuff, I love the smell and how quickly it sinks into your skin, I brought two of these lovely things and I then picked up the daily tan.

Im not entirely sure what this is like, but due to the fact i like their other creams and they are good quality i decided to give this ago. it was £5.10 I think, im just hoping its not like johnsons daily tan and you get orange patches.
I am going to road test this over the next few days and I will give you girls a daily update on what its doing.

Whats your favourite gradual tanner and your favourit body cream??

Superdrug Sale

Afternoon girlies :) I hope everyone has had another bank holiday.
I went shopping with my mummy yesterday and we poped into superdrug, I wasnt really going to get anything but I saw that they had a sale on perfume and so i picked up Anna sui dolly girl, I love this perfume since I was about 14 I have always had a bottle. The one picked up isnt the same one I get but the smell is still the same.
So this is the one I got in the sale, I got 30ML which was £9.99 but with my student discount it was only £8.99 WIN :)

This is what the technical term for it smells like '' composed of sparkling notes of Florida grapefruit, Italian melon and cinnamon. The heart notes bring neroli, magnolia, tuberose, jasmine and lily of the valley in the composition, while the base notes caress us with woody accords of Texas rose tree, cedar, orris root, peach, coconut, amber and musk. ''

I just think its a really girly lovely scent and perfect for summer, It lasts for ages which is good, one squirt and you can still smell it at the end of the day :)

What is your must have perfume????

Anyway I went to the doctors today and on the way home I had to go into superdrug to get some dissolvable paracetamol and I also picked a few things up to make me feel better :)

I got three nail varnishs by miss sporty and some eylure dylash 45 day mascara, which I will be trying out at some point :)
