Monday

TK MAX, Chairty shops and Primark :)

So this is quiet blog heavy, I appologise for the quality they were taken on my pooey camera phone! BUT here goes :)

Starting with TK MAX :)

This dress was in the sale for just £4, my gorgeous boyfriend found it for me :) I also saw today that boohoo are selling the exact same dress, but for £15 in their sale!!!

Next is this floral number! I promised I would not buy anything else floral but this is so cute and girly I had to get it, this was £6 in the sale :)

Then there was the beauty! Ive been looking for a lace dress for like seriously ages! It was between this one and another lace one, I obviously went for the cheapest plus my boyfriend said this one looked the best! £6 ;)

This is just a close up of the collar and the lace beautiful hey ;)

Next up we have Primark :)

I got this beauty from primark for a mere £4 I think, unfortuantly ive brought it and havent a clue what to do with it :(

I had to get this summer dress, I just had to!! £5 summer dress :D

It has the cutest button detail :)

I then spotted this head band, same colour as the dress I just had to get it £2 I think!!!

Next we have charity shops!!!!

I spotted these in like a little jumble bit 50p ;), I have cleaned them seriously, but the backs are new I did ask :)

I spotted this top, I was uncertian wether to get it as its fairly see threw but its this gorgeous nude colour so I nabbed it up £1.50 :)

This was a broach but ive took the back off and put a hair clip on the back instead. 50p

These actually arent from a charity shop these are from my great grandmas, I love going threw her stuff ;) FREE stuff and its all so beautiful!!! Gorgeous bow earring :D My grandma is so trendy and she dont even know it :)

Twycross Zoo

Evening ladies :)

My boyfriend came over on wednesday night, so sorry for lack of updates :(

It was a gorgeous gorgeous day on thursday, so after I had been to the doctors we went to the zoo :D

Unfortunatly im not really a takeing picture person so there isnt alot of pictures but it was a lovely day out! With zillions of monkeys my fav animal in the world :D

This had a little baby in the corner it was SOOOOO cute :)

The baby elephant had like this lill tuffty hair was cutey :)

I really wish i had of taken more picture :(

After the zoo we went to pizza hut for dinner yummmm :) then we went to TK max I will do a seperate blog on that later :)

Kitchen Cupboard Beauty - Salt

Today is the day of SALT :)

Everyone uses salt seasoning salt, but its an amazing beauty tool aswell :)

Brighter teeth

Gently brush your teeth with a paste of salt and water.
Salt’s gentle abrasive action makes teeth squeaky-clean.
Its anti-bacterial power keeps gums and teeth fresh and healthy.

Mouthwash

Dissolve a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water and use as a mouthwash.
Cleaner, sweeter mouth and breath!

Anti-Stress/Detox Bath

Toss 1/2 cup of sea salt in your tub as it fills with warm water.
Soak at least 10 minutes to help detoxify yourself on every level.

Exfoliating scrub

2 cups fine sea salt

4 cups grapeseed, apricot or almond oil

20-30 drops essential oil of choice

Place salt in a widemouthed jar and cover with grapeseed, apricot, or almond oil. Scent with essential oil.
To use, dampen your entire body. Using either your hands or a loofah mit, vigorously but gently massage the salt and oil mixture into the skin.
Begin at the feet and work upward in a circular motion.
Be careful to avoid any scratched or wounded areas.
When you have massaged the entire body, rinse with warm water. Finish with a dry-towel rub.

Superdrug Launch MUA Online

So I have had a quick look on the superdrug website and their new £1 make-up range and to be honest it looks very varied and colourful, except the eyeshadow and eyedust. The colours of these items are very dark, they do have a green and a purple but in general they are pretty dull.

The nail varnishes look amazing and bright which makes up for this! I am also not 100% sure what their eye glitter is or how your saposed to use it but maybe I will look into that more but the colours for this are bright aswell :)

Superdrug have pretty much covered everything in this line, my only real problem is with the lipsticks, they have the colour on the top of the lipstick but it needs a big sploge of colour so you can see it propperly as some colours look the same, Hopefully they may change this :)

Kitchen Cupboard Beauty - Sugar

Heya girlies, what a beautiful day today!!!
I've been haveing a few ideas, me being me I never have any money:(
So I have come up with beauty remedies you can find at home in your kitchen :) And my first one in this series is SUGAR!!!!

Cane sugar produces glycolic acid, one of the natural alpha hydroxy acids that exfoliates the skin.
But sugar has more roles for beauty care than making your skin silky soft!!
You can use brown sugar or granulated sugar.

1) Sugar scrub. Sugar is an excellent exfoliant for face, body and feet! Here are some recipes :)

Basic Sugar Scrub

1 cup granulated white sugar

1/2 cup olive oil

Pour the granulated white sugar into the jar.
Pour the olive oil into sugar and mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well blended

Summer Fresh

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Chopped fresh tomato

2 tablespoons yogurt or sour cream

Place the sugar in a small bowl. Add enough fresh chopped tomato to moisten, then add yogurt. Combine and apply to a clean, damp face, using fingertips to gently massage the formula into skin.
Allow formula to remain on skin for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water and pat dry.

You can make a sugar scrub out of pretty much anything! Use it on your lips to get gorgeous smooth lips with olive oil!

2) Sugar waxing. Its an alternative to normal waxing, but its the same principal, apply to hairy part and strip off with one of the wax strips :)

Sugar Waxing

1 Lemon

1 cup Honey

1 cup Sugar

Microwave

Microwave-safe Bowl

Take a microwave-safe bowl, put honey and sugar in it.Mix thoroughly.
Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze juice from the lemon and put it in the bowl.
Mix thoroughly. Keep the bowl in the microwave and heat at high, for 2-5 minutes.

3) Sugar hairspray, strange it would seem you can do this at home, just dont tease the bees ;)

Sugar Hairspray

1 tablespoon sugar

1/3 to 1 cup hot water (less water for a thicker spray)

Dissolve the sugar in the hot water.
Pour the mixture into a spray bottle, and spray on the hair.
You need to soak the spray nozzle in hot water to dissolve the sugar crystals between uses.

My Idol 1

One of my idols at the moment is Lauren Luke!!

She came out of nowhere really, well youtube :) Lauren Luke is one of my idols at the moment because she has made a name for herself by selling make-up on ebay then doing youtube tutorials. You can watch her videos on youtube, she updates all the time, and goes by the nick name pancea81.

Lauren is from South shields, she was born in 1981 so says wikipedia, and she had a son at the age of 16/17.

She is a lovely person to watch, she is always cheery and gives amazing advice. She uses high brand, her own brand and low brand products for her looks!

Her career has gone sky high the past few years and she has made such a big name for herself, threw dedication and hard work!!!

She is a true inspiration to me, and she proves that a passion in something can lead somewhere no matter what that passion is :)

Her makeup line is utterly gorgeous aswell!! She has 5 kits out and a lipgloss at the moment! More to be added (I HOPE)
